Olá, my name is Aleksander Saharovsky, I move things, smoothly!
I’m a Motion Graphics Director and Keyframe Specialist based in Sydney, currently directing a talented motion graphics team at Apparent.
Hailing from Brazil, with a name that might sound more Slavic than South American, I assure you, I’m a true Brazo who’s been living abroad for quite some time. While I may not know how to samba or play soccer, my work definitely carries a little South American flair.
I’ve spent my career figuring out how to make things move, from characters and creatures to objects, typography and everything in between. I’m a keyframe animation specialist at heart, with a particular love for finding that sweet spot between technical precision and animation that simply feels good.
Before moving to Sydney, I spent several years living and freelancing across Europe, working with motion design boutiques and studios on a wide range of projects. That experience gave me the opportunity to work with different creative teams, styles and approaches, and helped shape the way I think about animation and collaboration.
I then spent nearly five years as a Senior Animator at Buck in Sydney, working across a wonderfully diverse mix of projects and alongside some seriously talented people. It was a big part of my journey as an animator and helped push my craft to another level.
These days, I get to combine that hands-on animation background with directing and leading a motion graphics team at Apparent. I’m passionate about building great teams, helping artists do their best work, solving creative problems and, of course, making things move.
I’m still a bit obsessed with buttery-smooth keyframes, though. Some things never change 🤘🏻
